If you want to learn how to mold clay and make pottery, you can go to classes or you can pay a pottery wheel and do it in your home. It is a good way to get you relaxed, it also relieves stress, and it is fun to do in your spare time. All you need to the wheel, clay, water, and your hands. Make sure you flip on the switch when you are ready to begin, it will be messy but it will be fun. You can also mold the clay by hand, show your kids how to do it and let them be creative with their clay, let them make their own works of art. Kids can amaze you on what they can make, it doesn’t take them long to get the hang of it and they can get really good at it too.
When you use a pottery wheel, you need to put the clay on the wheel, how ever much you want and add the water to it. It will soften the clay up so it can be molded into whatever you want to make. Then turn on the switch on low or medium and have the clay go through your hands, make sure your hands are wet too because it will mess up on you. Have a bowl of water right next to your so you can dip your hands in it when you need more water, also have another bowl by you for if the clay mess up and you can put it in there an don’t on the floor and so you don’t have to get up a lot.
