Barack Obama and Global Warming
November 21, 2008
Is anybody sure about the cause of global warming? One thing is certain. The answer to THAT question is NO.
A lot of people would say it is air pollution, and the newest president of the USA seems to think so. Can a new government save future generations from global catastrophe? A market for cleaner-burning fuels might help stop climate change and President Obama’s administration could make this possible. So a number of environmental groups and lobbyist groups hope.
One such special interest group is known as Ceros. This coalition of environmental organizations and investors wishes for Obama to curtail global warming. They figure he could pass legislation to reduce green house gas emissions by 25% below 1990 levels before 2020, and they might be right.

Robert Walsh Kids Clothing announces the publication of their newest page, “Cool & Unique Barack Obama Apparel, Gifts & T-Shirts On Sale”.
Today in history, November 4, 2008, the presidential election of 2008 will place an asterisk in the history of US Presidents next to the 44th President as the first black American President, Barack Obama. His name will be found on lists that include major historical events, American history, famous people in history, history of racial discrimination, famous black Americans, and historical event dates.
The “Obama for President” theme was a dream for many Americans, particularly the Afro-American community. Given very little chance to succeed at the start of the primary season in 2007, history channel will chronicle his journey to the White House. The historical events timeline of his run for the Presidency began on a cold winter day on the steps of the Old Capitol in Springfield, Illinois, where President Abraham Lincoln announced his run for the Presidency almost one hundred fifty years before.
Fired Up Voters Bring In A New Era For Politics
November 20, 2008
For many of us this presidential election was a side of America we have never been able to see firsthand before. This has been the most fiercely fought election process in our time and what a show it was. It really gave us insight on what it is to be American and the real power the people do have when it is put to use in an orderly and determined fashion. It is an election that will go down in history for more than the obvious reasons.
Almost everyone will associate this presidential election with the fact that for the first time we have elected an African American to the highest office in the land. African Americans have fought long and hard in this country to have their citizenship recognized and respected among everyone and it is long overdue. For the black people in our country that were there for the civil rights movement that was led by the great Martin Luther King, it has been a proud moment that they longed for and some never believed they would have the opportunity to see in their lifetime.
Our Country’s Blazing Fire Now Coming To A Slow Burn
November 19, 2008
Now our country is at a slow burn as we went to the polls and used our right to vote. It had been at a high burning fire in a lot of people’s hearts for the last two years with it coming to a full blaze the last couple of days. Now with everything said and done, we will wait until our new president gets into office to see if we were right. I hope with all my heart that he will be able to do at least half of what he said that he would do for this country of ours.
He made the young people of this country proud and encouraged them to vote, which was a very big step in making our children realize the power that they can have in voting for something that they might believe in so strongly. In past elections, we just didn’t seem to be able to make these young voters understand their right to vote or make them want to vote in the first place. As we saw, they went out in droves, and most of them did vote for the first time in their lives.
